I seem to be painting a lot of winter scenes lately - although this is one I did awhile ago. Well, winter is pretty much at our door, so why not winter scenes ?
You must still be working hard towards your forthcoming exhibition, - Good luck with that !
I love the serenity of your work. I would love to see some "life" in it though (like birds or wildlife).
My thoughts exactly John, I have quite a few more of these to come. And yes, still working hard, slowly things are coming together - hope to have 15 paintings finished for the exhibition.
Thanks Valley Art Project, I often am torn between leaving the painting as a "pure" landscape or including some life in it, as you put it. I have to be careful not to take away from the scene itself as often one can become more focused on the added subject and miss the idea of what I was trying to say with the painting.
