It has been very cold with quite a lot of snow lately and over in the nearby wetland area, I saw two Common Snipe. That sighting brought to memory a painting I did some time ago of a single bird in a snowy landscape much in the same way as I saw the recent snipe. This oil is about 15 x 30 inches (38 x 76cm).
